At just the age of 26, Taylor Swift has been crowned as the world's highest-paid celebrity by Forbes magazine. The singer reportedly made US$170 million over the past year.
According to reports, the amount Taylor earned from June 2015 to June 2016 is the highest total of her career, more than doubling her previous record of US$80 million last year.
She reportedly out-earned other musicians including Adele (US$80.5 million), Madonna (US$76.5 million), Rihanna (US$75 million) and Bruce Springsteen (US$60.5 million).
Taylor also outpaced rival Katy Perry who was last year's top-earning musician at US$135 million. Katy dropped to number 63 on this year's list, earning US$41 million. Taylor's ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris came in at number 21.
Coming in at number two on the list this year was One Direction, who made $US110 million, followed by author James Patterson who made US$95 million.
