Nineties heartthrobs Take That will perform in Dubai – well, three of them at least!
Sadly, original members Robbie Williams and Jason Orange have since departed from the smash-hit boy band, but the event’s still sure to prove a major draw for their many nostalgic fans, who’ll be able to catch Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald in the flesh.
They said: “We’ve always been very proud of our live shows and are very excited about performing in Dubai for the first time.
“Playing live is something we love the most about what we do and we're looking forward to putting on the most amazing show we can. We hope to see you there!”
The boys will belt out hits including Could it be Magic, Babe, Relight My Fire, Never Forget, Everything Changes and many more tunes from their formidable back catalogue, which includes no fewer than 15 number-one singles and eight number-one albums.
Thomas Ovesen, chief operating officer of promoter Done Events, said: “Despite Take That being one of the most successful bands of modern times, with endless hits and amazing ticket sales to their name, it’s only now we are able to – for the first and only time here in the Middle East – present the guys live in concert.
“When on 30 October we open doors for this most requested, demanded and indeed anticipated Dubai show, we expect it to be for another sold-out Take That concert.”
Let’s hope the guys are Back for Good!
