'Swim for Clean Seas' at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort is back for the second edition and we're excited.

It's to raise awareness for the importance of keeping our seas clean, and participants can learn about how we can all reduce disposable plastic waste, both as individuals and as a community.

Taking place on Friday March 29, there will be fun activities, gifts, refreshments and swim distances for all levels including special appearances from sea experts.

There will also be a special workshop with the resident Marine Biologist, Emily Armstrong from Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort. Plus, amazing brand ambassadors HH Sheikh Theyab Khalifa, one of the first Emiratis to climb Mount Everest, and Sarra Lajnef, first Tunisian female swimmer to qualify for the Olympics will be there.

You can sign up to one mile, half a mile, a quarter of a mile or a 200 metre splash - ranging from Dhs90 to Dhs2000 in price - and medals will be handed out at the end.

Don't miss it.
