Ahlan! Qatar seeks out street stylistas and shares their shopping secrets with you

Occupation: Relocations Facilitator

The outfit: Top, H&M, QR80; pants, Zara, QR200, shoes, Nordstrom in the US, around QR700.Favourite high-street store: Zara, because I think their designs are current.
Top summer trend: I love the Middle Eastern/Moroccan style. I love the beading and different textiles. Usually these designs are perfect for summer.
Must-have fashion item: Leggings, especially because in Doha we need to dress respectfully and cover up.
Style icon: Eva Mendes, she always looks perfect.

Esther Matuku
Occupation: Procurement Executive

The outfit: Dress, Warehouse, QR450; shoes, Aldo, QR280; the handbag was a gift.
Favourite high-street store: Mango, because I think their outfits are so adaptable and can be worn from the office to a night out.
Top summer trend: I love chiffon, it’s cool and light and perfect for summer. I also adore the summer colours.
Style icon: Tyra Banks. I really love the way she does her make-up.
Favourite designer: Roberto Cavalli. I have a pair of his sunglasses with glitter and bling and I adore them.

Marina Pierrat
Occupation: Cabin Crew

The outfit: Top, Garage, QR40; my mum made my skirt; shoes, Bershka, QR250; handbag, River Island.
Favourite high-street store: I have a few. Mango, but I prefer it internationally, for some reason the Mango in Doha has a different range; Zara – I especially love the last collection’s prints, and finally Pull ‘n Bear, because it’s young and fresh.
Top summer trend: I’m into bright primary colours.
Style icon: Miranda Kerr. I love that her style is easy and sophisticated.

Bronwyn Hammond
Occupation: Face Painter

The outfit: Top, Zara, QR160; shorts, Topshop, Villagio, QR250; shoes, Kurt Geiger, QR600; handbag, Accessorize, QR200.
Favourite high-street store: Topshop, because the material is good and it maintains its quality after being washed.
Top summer trend: I like funky hats and beautiful long dresses.
Must-have fashion item: I can’t  leave the house without lipstick. If you have nothing else on, lipstick brightens your face.
Style icon: Kate Moss. She always manages to look cool in jeans and jackets, and she isn’t over the top.

The outfit: Top, Mango, QR100; skirt, Bershka, QR150; the shoes were a gift.
Favourite high-street store: Bershka. I love Bershka because the clothes are up to date with trends.
Top summer trend: The lace look. I also like flowing clothes, which are perfect for the weather in Doha.
Top fashion tip: Just be yourself.
Style icon: Lauren Conrad and Olivia Palermo – I just think they’re so stylish.

Angie Bolton
Occupation: Physiotherapist

The outfit: Top, Topshop; pants, Mango; my shoes are from a store in Australia and the purse is Karen Millen but I forget how much they cost.
Favourite high-street store: I love Uterque in Villagio, they have amazing shoes and beautiful quality tailored Italian clothing.
Top summer trend: Strappy summer dresses.
Style icon: Angelina Jolie – she’s edgy but still classic.
Top fashion tip: Be true to yourself, work with your body shape and, if you’ve got it, flaunt it.
