There’s tonnes going on at Dubai Food Festival this year, and we’re pleased to see the return of one event in particular. Food almost takes a back seat at Street Nights, when the warehouse-lined alleys of Al Quoz (where else?) become awash with vibrant graffiti.
Grab a spray can and join aerosol aficionados from as far afield as Brazil, who’ll create a giant canvas with a truly global flavour. Music will be curated by Dubai’s Deep Crates Cartel – if you’ve been to the hip-hop crew’s super-cool club night, you’ll know just what to expect. Last but not least is the food – with Moti Roti’s flatbreads, Fümé’s gourmet comfort food and Emirati fare from new Khaleeji café Logma among the varied cuisine on offer, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Street Nights – it’s the only place to go.
INFO: 5pm-12midnight, Fri 20-Sat 21 Feb, free, Street 4B, off Sheikh Zayed Rd (behind ACE Hardware and Al Tayer Motors), Al Quoz, Dubai, www.facebook/streetnightsDXB, www.streetnights.ae
