Stepping Out with Lisa Scott-Lee
My hubby and daughter had celebrations the same week
It was a week of birthday’s as it was my husband’s and our little girl Star Lily’s birthday last week. I’d been planning a Barbie pool party for our daughter’s sixth birthday as the weather was starting to cool down.
We were waiting for our guests to arrive, and Johnny found some Hawaiian music to play while Star Lily and I greeted our guests with a grass skirt and flowered garlands which got everyone into the spirit of things. I found a great company called Tumble Time who supplied everything we needed for the day, including colourful inflatables for the pool and a friendly octopus.
It was nice to do something different and the kids (and adults) spent the whole day playing in the pool, the giant water slide was a big hit and we had such a great day!
After all the kids had gone home and ours were tucked up in bed, Johnny and I had a lovely meal at Nobu at Atlantis, The Palm and celebrated his birthday too, in a more peaceful surrounding!
Let’s Get Physical
We have a new member to our DPA, British Gymnastics Coach Lisa Aytoun and she has been wowing our students with her skills! We’ve just launched Acro classes at our new venue Fitness First Knowledge Village and her classes are not to be missed and they’re open to all, please email info@DubaiPerformingArts.com for more details.
Beauty Can’t Wait!
I wanted to treat myself before the party week and wanted to try out a new treatment I’d heard about called ‘Woman on the run’ at Pastels Salon. Six therapists, two on each hand, two on each foot and two on hair. It was completely over the top but great for busy women who only have an hour to spare.
