Hats On for Dubai World Cup!
Last week, Kelly Lundberg hosted a very glam afternoon tea at Hamptons Café on Jumeirah Beach Road to get us ready for the upcoming Dubai World Cup. Not only did we get to enjoy lots of tea and cake and hear Kelly’s advice on dressing for the races, but we each got to wear a gorgeous hat made by international milliner Karen Hamilton!

Sunset Sessions at Tomo
I attended the launch of Sunset Sessions at Dubai’s newest rooftop bar, Tomo Views Terrace in Raffles Dubai. It’s perfectly positioned for guests to soak up the stunning skyline at sunset while eating a selection of freshly prepared sushi. I met a lady there called Harue Oki, who wore a beautiful authentic kimono and gave me a tour of the terrace, which has low tables and seating for traditional Japanese-style dining.

It was our son Jaden’s birthday this week and he wanted to celebrate turning seven with a Spiderman-themed party at Bounce Dubai. After an hour of bouncing and tiring themselves out, it was time for this fab Spiderman cake created for us by the House of Cakes. Happy birthday, Jaden!
