One of the leading hotels adds a new culinary member to the team!

The luxury hotel, St Regis, has recently welcomed new chef, Jean-Luc Morcellet.

Chef Morcellet has 20 years of experience under his belt and has worked with culinary teams in France, UK, USA and Zimbabwe, even cooking for the late South African president, Nelson Mandela.

As executive chef, he will be overseeing restaurants Astor Grill, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Oyser Bay, Sarab Lounge, Al Sultan Brahim, Vine and will be supporting the chefs at Gordon Ramsay Mediterranean and Opal by Gordon Ramsay.

General manager of the St Regis, Tareq Derbas, stated "We are very pleased that Chef Morecellet has joined the St Regis family, we believe that his refined culinary experience and exquisite gastronomic delights will certainly leave a positive impact on all of our diners. Moreover, the re-opening of our restaurants and venues will be the highlight of our busy season and we are keen on welcoming all of our valued guests."
