7 Reasons Why Luchador Is Our Favourite Mexican Restaurant In Town

1. The whole restaurant is Instagram gold

Luchador is fast becoming our favourite Mexican restaurant. Found on the 11th floor of the Aloft Palm Jumeirah, the quirky colourful décor, amazing food, expertly mixed Mexican cocktails and lively atmosphere, care of dancers and the DJ, all have us coming back for more. Whether you're taking photos of the view on the terrace, of the cool neon lights or of the hanging colourful sombreros and luchador wrestling masks, you'll have plenty of snaps to post on the 'Gram!

2. The variety of tacos is out of this world

The restaurant serves 12 different types of taco – yes, 12! The highlights have to be the crowd-pleasing huitlacoche, which is corn truffle, mixed mushrooms, truffle oil, rosemary mayo and crispy zucchini. We also love the indulgent gringa de trompo concocted with octopus, chorizo, onion garlic, smokey mayo, and pico de gallo.

3. The bar is buzzing

Experience an incredible slice of Latin America at Luchador as the trendy leisure hub blends haute cuisine, expert mixology, vibrant entertainment with a strong social scene. Head down to celebrate El Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in spooky Mexican style on Friday 2 November.

4. The view is incredible

Set on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, you can sit al fresco on the terrace, overlooking the sea over to the Burj Al Arab. A must-visit if you have guests in town, to show Dubai off in style.

Inspired by Mexico’s famed wrestling sport Lucha Libre, the Mucha Lucha Brunch is a four-round Latin fiesta with unlimited servings of 12 exceptional delicacies. Treat your taste buds to authentic tacos, guac, and ceviches, and wash it all down with fresh fruit margaritas and Mexican hops. And the best part? With the Eat Stay Love deal you can check into the Aloft Palm Jumeirah for the night. So when you have finished brunching, soak up the sun at the private Splash pool with access to the private No'shu beach.
