Solange has claimed her first number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart with her latest album A Seat At The Table.
Since its release in September, the album has received rave reviews.
Last week, Solange released the music videos to tracks Crane In The Sky and Don’t Touch My Hair, which she directed with her husband Alan Ferguson.
The star has stepped out of her big sister Beyoncé’s shadows and amassed countless achievements, which include owning her record label named Saint Records.
However, Beyoncé and Solange are the second pair of siblings to top the US Album Chart in the same calender year, with Beyoncé’s Lemonade taking the number one spot in April.
Janet and Michael Jackson, first achieved this honour in 2001 with their respective albums All For You and Invincible.
