Out in the Cold: Sir Paul was not allowed in

Sir Paul McCartney, Beck, and Taylor Hawkins were refused entry to a Grammy Awards afterparty.

The Beatles icon and his rocker pals tried to head to an exclusive post awards bash hosted by the rapper Tyga at Los Angeles nightclub Argyle after Monday night's ceremony.

However, when Sir Paul attempted to gain entry to the party venue, door staff were unmoved and rejected his pleas to be allowed inside.

Video footage obtained by shows the Brit joking that he, Beck, and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor might not be famous enough to attend the party, saying, "How VIP do we gotta get?"

Turning around to share a laugh with his companions about their predicament, Sir Paul then joked, "We need another hit."

According to the website, the trio of music icons left disappointed after failing to reason with club security staff, and they attended a party held by Republic Records instead.
