Singapore-born Australian Simone, who has a regular three-hour stint on the Workforce Requests show on 104.4 Virgin Radio, moved to Dubai three years ago and hasn’t looked back. A cult personality in the UAE, thanks to her regular appearances in the media and on the fashion circuit (usually decked out in Furne One or Aiisha Ramadan couture), 2011 was another successful year for this ambitious and beautiful 27-year-old Hot 100 regular.
The porcelain-skinned Heng gained a much coveted beauty endorsement last year – she was chosen as one of the new faces of Ponds Arabia, a huge breakthrough for the non-Arab beauty.
Not content with that, as well as a day radio job under her belt, 2012 will see Simone indulge her creative side even further as she holds her first solo art exhibition at the Dubai Ladies Club in March. Simone has also been cast in a cameo in the film Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains opposite Chinese superstar Andy Lau – the film will be released in June. To top it all, this confident extrovert will be starring in her first play titled Dagger Shorts, written by Emirati director Mustafa Abbas.
