.@HHShkMohd:We have instructed to begin evaluating 600 government service centers. On September 14, we will announce the 5 least & best performing service centers. My message to officials: We will not accept anything short of the 1st position globally in our services & facilities pic.twitter.com/BnLiPI1DZV— Dubai Media Office (@DXBMediaOffice) July 1, 2019
HH Sheikh Mohammed gave a sharp warning to officials by saying: "we will not be satisfied with anything less than the top position worldwide in our services and facilities."
This initiative comes up after the Ruler of Dubai criticised poor standards at a government service centre in April and promised to remove staff who are not performing well.
Also, the Khaleej Times took to twitter create a poll asking tweeps what they look for when visiting a government service centre in the UAE.
