Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri to Host Exclusive Foie Gras Dinner
Foie gras is one of those sought-after culinary indulgences and who better to prepare it than the French? As part of the upcoming food festival, Gourmet Abu Dhabi, Chef Phillipe Garret has designed a bespoke five-course menu around the luscious ingredient. Chef Garret is renowned in France for creating luxurious and quality dishes so for foodies this dinner will be a real treat.
The event, on 11 February, will be presented by foie gras producers, Sarrade who are Gourmet Abu Dhabi’s ‘Gourmet Purveyor Partner’ and available in the region through Chef Middle East. The exclusive menu will be paired with French vino from Hugel & Fils and a member of the founding family along with 2007’s ‘Best Sommelier in the World’ will be there to talk guests through the food and beverage pairing.
