Selena Gomez & Kendall Jenner Get Got
It was supposed to be a comedy show that made Justin Bieber blush, but instead it was the women in his life that got annihilated. Justin Bieber’s Comedy Central Roast brought out a host of stars including Martha Stewart, Will Ferrell and even Snoop Dogg, but rather than keep their barbs aimed at Biebs, 21, they shot down Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner.
Selena Dates Men Now
It was comedian Kevin Hart who opened up the show by wasting no time at all before harshly laying into Selena, 22. To explain her absence from the show Kevin said: “Justin, unfortunately, Selena Gomez couldn’t be here tonight, just because she didn’t want to come.” He added: “She didn’t want to be here. I wish I had something better to tell you but I don’t.” The crowd may have been erupting in laughter, but we doubt Selena found it very funny and she definitely wouldn’t have liked the comments that followed. Hart went on to discuss Justin’s rumoured relationship with Kendall, who was actually sitting in the audience, and explained that he thought Gomez didn’t want to be in the same room as Jenner. “Selena got word, there were rumours that Justin [was] dealing with Kendall Jenner, and that shocked me!” Comic Jeff Ross also weighed in with the abuse and joked: “Selena Gomez wanted to be here but she’s dating men now. Is it true you dumped her because she grew a moustache before you?” Ouch!
Justin Isn’t Gangsta
While the ladies were certainly left red faced on the night, it was still Justin who suffered the brunt of the attack with a slew of blows landing on his ego throughout the night. Some of the best hits came from Hart who blasted: “Justin has the voice of an angel and the driving skills of Stevie Wonder.” He continued the onslaught with one-liners like: “Orlando Bloom took a swing at you, you have a perfume called Girlfriend and you threw eggs at a house – not gangsta.” And: “A feud with One Direction? That’s like a fight between don’t-care and who-gives-a-s**t.”
Will to the Rescue
It wasn’t all bad for Justin, though, and Will Ferrell in character as Anchorman’s Ron Burgundy, did his best to hilariously support the young artist. “This kid has spunk. I’ve always encouraged people to stay classy and what’s more classy than hanging out with [boxer] Floyd Mayweather? If anything Justin Bieber, not only do you need to continue to live your life with the same reckless abandon, I suggest you even turn up the heat.” Bieber took his roasting on the chin, but still managed to get a sly dig in at Kevin Hart before the end of the night by saying: “Kevin Hart is so short, he calls Lil Wayne, Wayne.” Touché, Biebs.
