Jamm Art Gallery is set to bring the biggest icon of the past century back to life, through Bert Stern’s Marilyn Monroe photography exhibition on 18 March.

The independent art spot will show 12 classic pictures taken by photographer Bert Stern, just six weeks before the actress’s untimely death in 1962. The images, which show a deeper side of America's most famous actress and icon, have been enhanced with crystals and jewels.

The photographs are from a Vogue photoshoot  known as the 'The Last Sitting', as the pictures are the last of the star before her death. Stern took almost 2,600 photos at the 3-day shoot at the Bel-Air Hotel in Los Angeles and the images showed Marilyn as she'd never been seen before - a tragic, fragile and lonely woman.

INFO: 11am to 7pm, Saturday to Thursday, 18 March to 18 April, Jamm Art Gallery, Warehouse 11, Building 19, Al Quoz 1, Dubai, 050 228 8134.
