SCARLETT JOHANSSON has sparked a bidding frenzy on auction website eBay.comafter offering fans the chance to accompany her to a future movie premiere.

More than 161 people have bid on the date, with over a million interested parties visiting the site.

The top bid has reached $38,200. The 10-day auction ends on Wednesday.

The lucky winner will accompany the star to the premiere of her forthcoming movie He's Just Not That Into You in Los Angeles in June next year.

All proceeds from the Auction Cause sale will go to charity Oxfam.

The Lost In Translation star isn't the only star offering themselves up for auction for Oxfam - Minnie Driver is auctioning off a $100,000 (#50,000) lunch date as part of an upcoming initiative between the actress' hit U.S. TV show The Riches and Oxfam America.

George Clooney is also looking for a date with money - to accompany him to the premiere of his new film Leatherheads.

The movie hunk is auctioning off a night out as part of an Auction Cause/eBay sale - to raise cash for the Boys Girls Club Of America.

The winning bidder will join Clooney at the 31 March Los Angeles premiere and after-party.
