Sarah Brightman Brings Her Class Act to Dubai
Dreamchaser: Soprano Sarah Brightman will perform at Dubai Classics

International soprano Sarah Brightman will be bringing her world class vocals to the sunny shores of Dubai.

The 53-year-old Brit will be bringing her Dreamchaser world tour to the Emirate performing on consecutive nights on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 February in 2014. The concerts will form part of Dubai Classics, which is a new music festival making its debut next year and will bring a host of classical crossover artists to the UAE.

The concerts will be Brightman’s first ever gigs in Dubai and she will be singing countless numbers from her multi-award winning, 30-year long career including her biggest ever hit Time To Say Goodbye.

Brightman’s Dubai Classics shows come 45 years after her own life-changing moment – watching the famous Apollo 11 moon landings live on television. The grainy black-and-white images formed a lasting impression on Sarah’s childhood and are now the inspiration behind her hugely-successful Dreamchaser shows.

“Watching the first man land on the moon – it was an epiphany,” recalls Sarah. “It changed things. It actually helped me understand what it was that I had to do in my life, to further myself, to think outside the box. I realised I could go that far, I could do that.”

Info: 6 and 7 February, 2014, Dubai World Trade Centre, standard tickets available from Dhs350, Gold Dhs490, Platinum Dhs690, VIP Dhs1390, Royal Dhs2000, www.mpremiere.com
