Anyone for salt?

The Cavendish restaurant at the Bonnington Hotel Jumeirah Lakes
Towers is hosting a salt tasting evening – yes, that’s right, an evening
dedicated to tasting salt.

This unusual event is hosted in conjunction with the International
Wine & Food Society, the oldest and most renowned gastro club in the world
and is aimed squarely at high-brow foodies with thirst for culinary knowledge.
And don’t worry you will be left with more just thirst at the end of the night.

The Bonnington’s executive Chef Thomas Gagliardi will be on hand
throughout the evening to lead guests through the history and gastronomy of salt,
followed by tasting sessions to compare various salts from different parts of
the world, and concluding with a grand five-course gourmet dinner in which
specific salts will be used in each course. Can you spot which is which?

As consummate food lovers, we’re fascinated. Want to know more?
Join us the Bonnie.
