Teen sensation, Justin Bieber joined hands with PhoneGuard to launch the Drive Safe software program on Monday (11 July). The Drive safe application disables texting, emailing and keyboard functions on any phone when the car is moving faster than ten miles.

Like any teenager today Justin loves to text but one place where he you can expect him not to write back is in the car. Even Selena’s messages are ignored! “As a 17-year-old driver, I am aware of the countless distractions that we teenagers face on the road, and texting is one that is preventable,” said Justin. Now we know why Justin never wrote back to our message...

As part of the campaign Justin has teamed up with the Remember Alex Brown Foundation, which was set up by Alex Brown’s parents after she lost her life texting while driving.
