Rugby Champs Touch Down in Dubai!

UAE rugby fans
didn't see that coming! The British and Irish Lions jetted into Dubai following
their triumphant success in Australia. The team stopped off en route from Down Under and while
they didn’t have time for a layover, they didn’t disappoint fans either!

The Lions chilled out in the Emirates Business Lounge
at Dubai International Airport last en route to London Heathrow and they were
inundated with fans who wanted to wish them well.

The entire
winning team posed for pictures with avid British and Irish Lions fans in the
lounge as well as enjoying some much needed rest.

Qantas
Executive Manager International Sales Stephen Thompson:
“Qantas is a long-time supporter of rugby in Australia. Over
six weeks, Qantas has carried The Lions, thousands of fans and the hopes of
four nations around Australia. It’s been an exciting Tour and we’re pleased to
now deliver the champions home via our international hub in Dubai to celebrate
their win with their family and friends.”
