In this digital age, how can you measure friends and foes? By following their social media of course! That’s why further fuel was poured on familial feud rumours when Rob Kardashian pointedly stopped following just-married sister Kim on Twitter.
The LA-based 27 year-old whose claim to fame is the fact that every minute of his life is televised thanks to his glamorous sisters, sparked rumours of a rift when he skipped Kim’s media-frenzy wedding to rap superstar Kanye West in Florence last month. He also refused to attend their pre-wedding lunch hosted by designer Valentino in Paris, and the celebration at Versailles.
The arguments were said to have reached a crescendo when Kim criticised Rob about his weight gain citing the fact that his bulky frame would ruin her wedding photos. He was also unable to fit into any of the Valentino clothes the atelier had sent for the family to don for the designer's lunch.
According to a source, Rob “just doesn’t seem to feel comfortable or happy around his family at all. They’re all wrapped up in the same pretty world and he just doesn’t fit in.” He basically felt Kim only cared about appearances and he said he’d ‘make life easier’ for her and just leave.”
Rob has now sent gossips into a spin by removing all the Tweeters he followed on the social media site, apart from his manager mother Kris Jenner and younger half-sibling Kylie Jenner.
He has also deleted all tweets posted before 28 May, the wedding weekend.
The un-following spree comes just days after his sister Khloe Kardashian caused a stir on Instagram by posting a picture of herself swigging from a bottle alongside her rumoured beau, rapper French Montana, who was posing with what appeared to be a machine gun.
