Rihanna's Shocking Confession on Chris Brown's Physical Abuse
If you thought Rihanna was feisty before, that was nothing compared to her recent behaviour! She has rebelled against people judging her for rekindling a friendship with Chris Brown, defending her decision and claiming his physical abuse made her the person she is today.
“Her management banned her from reuniting with Chris, but she said she’ll do whatever the h*** she wants to,” a source told the New York Post. “Rihanna is rebelling. She says they have been working her too hard and she wants some time to herself. They fear she’ll secretly record an album with Brown, just to defy them.”
Rihanna, 24, opened up about the brutal assault in 2009, revealing in the upcoming May issue of Elle, “It gave me guns. They [the public] know more about me than I want them to know. It’s embarrassing. But that was my opening. That was my liberation, my moment of ‘bring it’.”
Fans and management have criticised the singer for getting friendly with Chris again, but she continues to defend her decision. “People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that’s all right. I don’t hate them for it,” she said. “I’m still going to do what I want to do.”
It’s not surprising the You Da One singer’s looking to old friends as she’s admitted there’s a “major drought” of men. RiRi, who’s been linked to Ashton Kutcher recently, revealed her work can be an issue, saying, “I just need to find the person who balances me out because then things like my schedule won’t matter,” adding, “I’ve done it before, so I know I can do it again.”
She has also posted a series of cryptic tweets, such as “If u don’t want me, someone else will... if I’m not good enough!”, followed by “Cry me a river... I already cried”, then, “I’m a selfish girl when it comes to you”, and finally “Fire is on my trail and it’s after me”. If this isn’t a rebellious streak, we don’t know what is! Watch this space...
