Rihanna sings through a blizzard
RIHANNA didn't let a blizzard striking the East Coast of the U.S. interfere with her wardrobe at an open-air gig on Saturday - she insisted on donning a skimpy outfit as she took the stage in New York (pictured left).
Despite freezing temperatures and up to 11 inches of snow falling on the Big Apple, the Umbrella hitmaker refused to let the bad weather stop her from slipping into her usual sexy stage attire for her pre-recorded New Year's Eve TV special.
The singer strutted onto the snow-speckled stage in low-slung trousers and a top bearing her stomach, and only reached for her fur coat when the conditions got too much, telling fans, "Maybe I am cold after all".
The show, in which she performed a duet with mentor Jay-Z, was filmed at Rockefeller Plaza as part of New Year's Eve With Carson Daly, which will air before the countdown to 2010 on U.S. network NBC.
