If you’re still searching for the perfect place to celebrate Eid, look no further than the Qasr Al Sultan Tent at the Rixos Hotel on the Palm. With spectacular panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and a friendly welcoming environment, the Turkish venue is pulling out all the stops with a whole host of menus and entertainment designed to mark the Holy feast in style. Their Ottoman Empire inspired tent, which was furnished by the set designers from the hit television series Hareem Al Sultan, offers the right ingredients for a truly magical family party.  During the first and second day of Eid they will be serving both lunch and dinner from special set and à la carte menus that draw ingredients from the Aegean Sea. Lovers of cold mezze will be treated to pickled cucumber, hommous, vine leaves, mussel dolma, octopus salad, rocket salad, melon with ezine cheese and eggplant salad, while the hot mezzes include fried calamari, cheese borek, pastrami borek and seafood kebbeh. Executive chef Richard Stratton recommends the grilled sea bass and marinated prawns served with minted new potatoes and sautéed vegetables while a traditional Turkish mixed grill accompanied with bulgar rice and grilled vegetables will also be on offer to meat lovers. A selection of deserts including the delicious home made baklava and fresh sliced fruits will offer the perfect ending to a delightful dining experience. Entertainment from Lebanese singer Bassel Eid will also keep guests entertained.
