Located on the balmy shores of the Palm Jumeirah and decked with exposed brick and wrought-iron finishing, this New York-inspired steakhouse is a fantastic addition to the culinary scene. There are plenty of kitsch touches to the restaurant that impress; right from the superb plating to the attentive staff, a lot of attention has been paid to the minute details of the culinary experience as a whole. In terms of food, the crisp and juicy Pacific crab cakes served with creamed corn and chilli corn relish were delicious. Additionally, the Australian rib-eye was seared to medium-rare heaven; however, it was the dessert that, in true form, captivated our hearts. After all, there is hardly anywhere in the Middle East that one can get a taste of New York’s famous cheesecake and the aptly named great American cheesecake left us wanting more. This steakhouse hits the sweet spot in more ways than one!
