This place is a winning alternative to the unhealthy chain restaurants that clutter our streets, and it offers delivery too. Expect expertly prepared sashimi and sushi with a twist. The ornate-looking California Pink Veggie Roll features crab, avocado, asparagus, cucumber and dill rolled in rice and blue flowers, and is as pleasing on the palate as it is on the eye. Summer rolls are ideal for those who don’t like the traditional nori seaweed wraps, encasing their contents instead with lettuce leaves. There’s even sushi with an injection of local flavour in the form of tabbouleh rolls.
In addition to classic sashimi, raw fish fans are spoiled with a selection of tatares (try the tuna with apple, cucumber, cream cheese and Avrugas caviar) and chirashi – a dome of seasoned rice layered with fish slices on top (the salmon and avocado variety is a winner).
