Named after the much-loved traditional appetiser of stuffed pastry, you know what you’re getting when you settle in at Sambusek. It’s a delightfully authentic Levantine experience that’s augmented by a backdrop of the capital’s glittering skyline and the Arabian waterfront. The menu runs from hot and cold mezze, including no less than six different sambusek, through to charcoal-grilled mains and desserts such as baklava and kunefeh. It wouldn’t be a wholly satisfying experience without the sweet smokiness of post-meal shisha, so head out on to the terrace and round off your meal in true Lebanese style.
