With the option of indoor and outdoor dining, this trendy spot offers stunning views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The interior is contemporary and classy with black and white complemented by a little bit of bling. The pearl motif definitely sets the tone with place settings featuring a shell containing the underwater gem.

Turning our attention to the food, we opt for seafood all the way but are surprised to note that meat and vegetarian dishes are sufficiently represented. As expected the starter of Loch Fyne scallops delivered on taste with the meaty texture of the super-fresh scallops contrast perfectly against an unctuously creamy cauliflower purée. Our halibut and sea bass mains were delicious – both had delicate flavours that were paired with well-considered ingredients that enhance the taste of each component to the dish.

With the lightness of the previous courses dessert came easily and the pistachio crème brûlée was a really imaginative twist on an old classic. Pearls and Caviar is an all-round good time, on the weekends there’s a DJ so you can dance the night away after your fine-dining experience.
