The restaurant at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is deceptively simple. An ideal place to head to if you are in the mood for a quiet meal, its understated charm is defined by the dark tones of the chairs and walls and private dining rooms. The menu, though, has enough choices without being bewildering. The emphasis here is largely on Oriental cuisine and boasts myriad seafood options along with grilled meat. A particular favourite is the Vietnamese rice paper roll filled with roast duck and spiced up with mint and sweet chilli sauce. It’s best to opt for seafood in the main course too – the steamed sea bream fillet accompanied by shiitake mushroom, bok choy and seasame and soy dressing is sure to satisfy even the most fastidious seafood lover. End your dinner with the aromatic pandan pancake filled with fresh grated coconut and served with mango salsa and ginger syrup. A bite of this sweet yet healthy indulgence is enough to lure you back to the Park Bar & Grill.
