Set over three floors, Icho boasts impressive views of Sheikh Zayed Road and while the surrounding scenery is nothing short of amazing, the culinary experience at this Japanese restaurant is hard to beat.
Starting off on the 49th floor of the Radisson Royal Hotel, the authentic restaurant consists of sleek contemporary minimalist design, lending to a calm Zen-like atmosphere. Window seats here are in demand, particularly after dark when the Dubai skyline sparkles! Up on the next level, the funky chefs are a sight to behold, providing entertainment and showcasing their juggling skills while they prepare meals at the teppanyaki tables. Perched above the restaurant levels is the buzzing bar, perfect for a post-dinner beverage, it also has a chilled out lounge area and serves sushi.
With so many delicious dishes on the menu it’s hard to narrow down your choices but help is on hand – the super friendly staff are more than willing to share suggestions. The sushi selection and signature smoke pot come highly recommended, and it would be a culinary sin to miss out on the wagyu beef from the teppan grill. Don’t forget to sample the maccha green tea cake for dessert!
