Being the only revolving restaurant in Dubai already gives Al Dawaar its USP – it’s a novel dining experience that feels like a throw-back to the Fifties in the city’s original hot spot, Deira. The views are stunning as you look out across the blue Gulf waters and Dubai Creek from the 25th floor, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the food too.

Whatever you fancy, there’s bound to be something that captures your attention, with dishes from European, Middle Eastern, Asian and Japanese cuisines served buffet-style. Head to the seafood bar and start with fresh oysters followed by locally sourced fish. The fresh salads and authentic mezze don’t disappoint, and for a more substantial meal the carving station serves up expertly cooked cuts carved straight onto your plate.
