You’ve got to be impressed by the attention to authenticity at Agadir. The exotic stamp of Morocco is evoked across the restaurant – from the staff in fez hats to the decor, including special screens and candles to chef Hakim, who makes the tastes of the region come alive.
Be aware that the menu at Agadir is extensive and can be a little difficult to choose from because of the sheer variety. We recommend digging into the amuse bouche with the delish Moroccan bread batbout, trying out the Bissara coup, sampling the Briouates (yummy assorted mini filo pastries stuffed with seafood, kofta, cheese and spinach) and getting acquainted with the powerhouse tagines. Apart from its a la carte offerings, Agadir (named after the fishing port on the south west coast of Morocco) also has set menus themed by region – Berber, Essaouira, Casablanca and Al Rif. Ranging from Dhs190 to Dhs220, these are great to try if you’re in a large group. You can also make Agadir’s menu your own by joining the restaurant’s Moroccan cooking classes.
