A sashimi-type salad with coconut and chilli

RECIPE: Tuna Masuni


200g fresh coconut, grated
200g canned tuna
200g fresh red tuna slices
1 small red onion, chopped
1 tsp dried red chilli flakes
A generous pinch of curry leaves
1 tsp lime or lemon juice  
1 fresh green chilli, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste

1 Marinate the fresh tuna slices in the curry leaves with the lime or lemon juice. Set aside.
2 Combine the onion, chilli flakes, fresh green chilli and canned tuna. Season to taste.
3 Transfer the mixture to a plate.
4 Place the fresh marinated tuna slices on top.
5 Scatter the coconut flakes on top and serve.
