3 tbsp butter
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 ½ cups milk
1 to 1 ½ cups of grated cheese
5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

1 Grease your slow cooker well with butter.
2 Add the potatoes.
3 Combine the butter, flour, salt and pepper together in saucepan set over medium low heat. Whisk the milk in gradually until no lumps remain.
4 Heat and stir until bubbly and thickened.
5 Stir in the cheese to melt.
6 Pour the cheese sauce over the potatoes. Cover and cook on low 5 to 7 hours.
