Grilled Salmon with a Teriyaki Glaze Over Brown Rice;Soda Snacks

Recipe: Root Beer Glazed Salmon

A unique fish supper


1 large salmon filet, bones removed

950ml root beer

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp coarsely ground garlic seasoning


1 Simmer the root beer in a medium saucepan set over a medium heat.

2 Reduce by 75 per cent until thickened.

3 Rub the salmon filet with oil.

4 Rub on the ground garlic seasoning.

5 Place the salmon in a grill pan, skin side down.

6 Brush the filet all over with the root beer sauce.  

7 Cook under the grill for 15 to 20 minutes. Cooking time will vary based on the thickness of the filet.

8 Turn once to cook evenly on the other side.

9 Serve with rice or salad.
