RECIPE: Homemade Piadina with Nutella


500g all-purpose flour
200ml milk
75g butter
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
Nutella to serve

1 Warm the milk and dissolve the salt in it.
2 Place the flour and baking soda into a bowl. Add the butter and warm milk mixture.
3 Work the ingredients with your hands, until you achieve a firm dough.
4 Flour another clean bowl, place the dough inside and cover with a damp cotton cloth. Allow the dough to rest for about 30 minutes.
5 Divide the dough into 4 balls and using a rolling pin, roll out into discs about 4mm thick. Cut out several small discs using a cookie cutter.
6 Place a frying pan over a high heat.
7 Cook the piadinas on both sides, flattening the bubbles with the tines of a fork as they form on the surface.
8 Fill generously with Nutella
