RECIPE: Curious George Lunchbox

INGREDIENTS
2 slices whole-wheat bread
1 banana, sliced
2 tbsp Nutella
2 tbsp peanut butter
Black food colouring
3 cherry tomatoes
5 strings of cheese
1 tbsp cream cheese
1 tbsp strawberry jam
1 cup plain yoghurt
1 cup fresh spinach

METHOD
1 Slice 2 pieces of whole wheat bread in the shape of the Curious George monkey head.
2 Using a toothpick or a knife, spread Nutella (for the fur) on one piece as shown in the picture.
3 Spread peanut butter on the other piece of bread and press together (Nutella side up) to make the sandwich.
4 Form cream cheese into small circles and place on the face to make the eyes.
5 Cover the bottom of your lunchbox container with the fresh spinach leaves.
6 Slice one banana and place on top of the spinach.
7 Slice the tomatoes in half and place them on the bananas as balloons.
8 Place strings of cheese under each tomato to make balloon strings.
9 Take a separate container and fill with the yoghurt.
10 Carefully place strawberry jam on top of the yoghurt in a diamond shape.
11 Use a toothpick to apply the black food colouring to create the details on George’s face and the kite as shown in the picture.
