Real-Life Weddings: Spanish Flavour
Ceremony: The ceremony took place under a gazebo overlooking the Caribbean in December 2010.
Reception: We had a five-course dinner on the beach then moved indoors for a party.
Guests: With just 60 guests, the wedding was very intimate and personal.
Rings: White gold bands, which were placed in a seashell.
Wedding Dress: The Bridal Room, Jumeirah Plaza.
Bride’s Accessories: Manolo Blahnik shoes.
Groom’s Suit: Hugo Boss.
Flowers: White orchids.
Cake: Instead of a traditional cake, we served our guests chocolate and vanilla soufflé made by a chef. We also treated them to big jars filled with Oreo cookies, chocolates and gummy bears!
Place Cards: We named our tables after things of the sea like Starfish, Seashell and Seahorse!
Favours: We wanted to incorporate an Arabian flavour to our day, so each guest received an Aladin lamp.
First Dance: To Black Eyed Peas I Gotta Feeling
