New concept Pret To Go to open in November at DIFC

A new home grown concept from the same founder of swish contemporary Spanish eatery, El Sur, has opened its doors in Dubai's financial district, but this time focused on catering to the busy professional looking for a quick bite to eat with the debut of this casual dining outlet.

Western expats will be treated to a taste of home, with comforting highlights including British breakfast cereals, French and Italian bakery delicacies, American style bagels, crisp baguettes, sandwiches, toasties, and fresh salads, while exciting hot pots of quinoa risotto with wild mushroom and Thai chicken curry are set to put some zing into lunchtimes.

The carefully conceptualised menu also offers a wide range of juices, specialty elixirs, freshly ground organic coffee and high energy snacks for those who need a quick boost who really can't afford to stop.

The restaurant's creator, Kunal Lahori, Executive Director of the Palmon Group, who announced the upcoming launch said "Pret To Go was born from the simple desire to bring flavourful, handcrafted food to busy working communities within the UAE, that also supports a commitment to local suppliers, organic ingredients and healthy cooking methods, enabling people to eat and feel good. Our food has no additives, preservatives or colourings, as I strongly believe that there is no such thing as junk food. There is junk and there is food!"

INFO: Opens November, 8am-6pm, Sat-Thu, Marble Walk, DIFC, 800-PRET,
