Prince To Perform In Dubai This Week!

03 Feb 2015

Living legend plays at the Pacha Ibiza this Weds for Autism Rocks

We’ve had some big names hitting Dubai of late, but this one could be the biggest of them all; the one and only Prince Rogers Nelson has been confirmed for a hyper-exclusive gig on the Pacha Ibiza terrace for the Autism Rocks charity.

Where to even start with this? If you don’t know Prince, you don’t know music. A 37 year-veteran, one of the most dominant and influential artists of our time, a multiple Grammy Award-winner, the seller of over 100 million records worldwide, and unquestionably one of the most proficient musicians ever. And he can dance a bit, too.

Last seen in public last month when he presented an award at the Golden Globes, Prince is renowned these days for his ‘guerrilla gigs’ – low key performances at intimate venues for those in the know. And he doesn’t lean on his back catalogue, either - although he has around fifty or so Top 40 hits to choose from should he fancy it.

He’s just played a gig in Camden Town, London, so it won’t be long before he gets on the plane and touches down at DXB. If you’ve not been lucky enough to see him, do whatever you can to score a ticket – this might just be the Dubai music event of the year…
