Reif Othman has created an innovative dining concept. It’s known as ‘mediterrasian cuisine.’ Othman, chef de cuisine of Play, who was the regional executive chef at Zuma, combines the flavours of east and west to create a unique restaurant experience – and a fresh take on fusion food.
Sit down for ‘The Experience’. This is a fresh take on the traditional Chef’s table, which Reif created to add another dimension to dining here. The exclusive setting will seats up to 12 people and the bespoke menu is tailor-made every night to suit the appetite of guests, giving them an interactive experience with the chef and his food; bringing forth an engaging atmosphere, which results in a one-of-a-kind dining extravaganza.
The restaurant is located on the 36th floor of The H Hotel. It has large-scale floor-to-ceiling windows, showcasing the beautiful skyline of Downtown Dubai. Take a seat in the gourmet restaurant with an elevated private dining area, or chill out and relax in the lounge.
The bespoke and evolving menu is divided into several sections. With a focus on modern Japanese food and Mediterranean ingredients, you can enjoy rock shrimp with citrus salt dip, the sublime black cod, which is served two ways – teriyaki-style on grilled skewers and as moreish Spanish croquettes. For dessert, the ‘Sneaker Bar’ is a scrumptious pistachio chocolate bar served with caramelised pistachio and pistachio ice cream, that’s not to be missed!
