Paul & David Cracknell
In 2016, we relocated our business from Satwa to new fully-equipped offices in The Dubai Design District and collected two top awards for on behalf of Cracknell’s for Commercial Landscape Architecture at the Arabian Property Awards and Outside Space at Identity Design.
We’ve also completed several important projects such as JBR The Beach, CityWalk, d3 Phase 1 and Palazzo Versace Hotel, and commenced work on Museum of the Future, next to Emirates Towers, which is a striking architectural building set among cutting-edge landscape architecture. We’ve also begun work on Expo Plaza Park, which will form part of Expo 2020 and Bvlgari Island, where we’ve brought in three large baobab trees to create a striking landmark at the entrance to this resort.
Architecture and the landscape are the two things that make a space and a destination, and while landscape architecture doesn’t get the same airtime as architecture – it’s what knits everything together.
We’ve been responsible for delivering landscape architecture on many of the important developments in Dubai over the last 26 years, at Downtown Dubai, JBR the Beach, The Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah, among others – helping to create destinations that have been instrumental in changing the face of the Emirates.
