When you think of some of the biggest names to grace Dubai’s stages, from Alicia Keys to comedian Michael McIntyre, Done Events has been behind them all. In 2013 alone, Done took home multiple awards for delivering the best concert of the year after bringing Bruno Mars to the region, and showed it had its finger on the pulse by appealing to an audience of all ages when Justin Bieber performed on our shores for two days of prepubescent mayhem back in May.
Chief Operating Officer Thomas first arrived in the Middle East from his native Denmark in 1998 to work as an air-traffic controller in Bahrain. With a passion for live music but virtually no ways to experience it, he went on to pursue a career with Dubai-based Mirage Promotions, one of a handful of companies dealing with live entertainment at the time. Working his way up from a junior position to general manager at the firm, Thomas went on to become a pivotal force in the transformation of the emirate’s live music scene.
Keeping things fresh and on par with international events, Nicola came aboard in 2012, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in marketing and brand management from her native Zimbabwe. Patrick joined the firm last September, following his role working at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, having reopened the venue post-Games at the mayor’s behest to become a 60,000-capacity open-air venue for a series of concerts for stars including Bruce Springsteen and Justin Timberlake.
