Oprah Winfrey Joins Weight Watchers
Now a Weight Watchers spokeswoman and company co-owner, after buying 10 per cent of the firm in October, Oprah will document her new-year slim down as part of a public campaign.
Her first ad debuted over Christmas and is now available on YouTube for everyone looking for a little motivation to lose the weight they packed on over the holidays on YouTube.
In the motivational commercial Oprah said: "Inside every overweight woman is a woman she knows she can be, many times you look in the mirror and you don't even recognise your own self because you got lost, buried in the weight that you carry.”
Oprah then uses flashback footage of her past weight loss efforts and urges fans to join her in her latest slimming effort, stating: "If not now, when?"
She then ends the provocative ad by urging viewers: "Are you ready? Let's do this together."
