One Direction's Louis is Going to be a Dad
It’s been a tough week for everyone connected to One Direction. First Harry Styles received death threats after falling over on stage, then Zayn Malik had a very public falling out with his BFF Naughty Boy, and now the future of the boyband and their squeaky clean image has been called into question after Louis Tomlinson dropped the bombshell that he’s going to be a father!
A Happy Surprise
You could almost feel the disappointment from One Directioners when news broke that Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth is pregnant with Louis’ first child. A source close to the pair told People.com that despite the baby being a complete surprise: “Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother.” The insider continued: “It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.”
Louis Isn’t Dating Briana
The 23-year-old’s dated briefly after Louis split from long-time girlfriend Eleanor Calder in March, and reports suggest he’s now looking for a new home in LA so he can be with Jungwirth throughout her pregnancy. A pal added: “Louis and Briana care about each other very much and have spent a lot of time together privately over the last few months. They’re both really happy and although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they’re both really excited about the baby. It’s early days and Briana and the baby’s health are the most important things right now.”
1D Fans Attack
The baby news brought the one-time couple’s parents together over America’s Independence Day holiday earlier this month, but Briana’s stepmother is worried about 1D fans threatening her. The stepmum told MailOnline.com: “I’m distressed from all the c**p I’ve read online in the middle of the night. I just hope all this doesn’t ruin her life, I care about that, we are at the beginning of something and she’s a private person, she’s not a Facebook person or anything like that.” Briana’s stepmum continued: “This is really scary for someone in her condition, especially when she’s only 23, I think it’s pretty overwhelming.”
