Olsen Twins Design Their First Wedding Dress for Longtime Friend Molly Fishkin
It seems the Olsen Twins are diving into new fashion territory! The actresses and fashion designers designed their very first bridal gown for the wedding of longtime friend Molly Fishkin.
The 28-year-old twins, who have won several CFDA awards, designed the custom-made lace dress for their friend of 15 years who married director-producer Asher Levin.
"The minute I got engaged, they said they would love to design my wedding dress," Molly told Vogue. "I was thrilled — their taste is impeccable, and I really trust them. Their team was so incredible and patient with me. They were always so calming and made the process incredibly enjoyable. I will never forget what they did for me,” she added.
The actresses, who started their acting career playing the shared role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House from 1987 to 1995, started their own fashion label The Row – named after Savile Row, a street in Mayfair, London, famous for bespoke tailoring.
But is this bridal debut the first of many others to come? In May, Mary-Kate joked that she would design her own wedding dress for her upcoming marriage to American-based French banker Olivier Sarkozy, half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarcozy.
