Tennis world number one Novak Djokovic will bid for a third straight title in Abu Dhabi at the 2013 Mubadala World Tennis Championship

Ace news for tennis fans! Novak Djokovic will return to Abu Dhabi in December to defend his title for the third year running at the 2013 Mubadala World Tennis Championship. 

The annual tournament will take place from 26 to 28 December and will see six of the world’s top tennis players battle it out across three days at the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex at Zayed Sports City. The full player line-up will be announced later this year, but is likely to include fellow tennis superstars Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal. 

Speaking of the championship where he has never lost a match, Djokovic said “No doubt I’ll face some tough competition again in December but I’m hungry for the hat-trick and I’ll be ready to defend my crown. The crowds in Abu Dhabi always create an amazing atmosphere and I hope to give them a great few days of tennis again this year.”

Tickets for the championship go on sale at midday on Tuesday, 2 July from Prices start from Dhs50 and all tickets sold before September will be entered into a draw to win a VIP tournament experience, including a meeting with Djokovic and an overnight stay at the five-star Yas Viceroy Hotel.
