Give it up for Novak Djokovic! The Serbian tennis star won his third straight Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi on 28 December (Saturday) beating David Ferrer 7-5, 6-2.

With this victory, Djokovic showcased more of the top form that has seen him finish the year with a 42-match winning streak on the ATP tour. In Abu Dhabi, he won $250,000 in prize money, not bad for 82 minutes worth of work – the time it took him to defeat Ferrer.

Ferrer was actually leading 4-2 in the first set but a bunch of unforced errors on his part meant Djokovic was soon in the driver's seat.

Third place at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship went to Rafael Nadal, who beat Jo Wilfried Tsonga 7-5, 6-3.
