Attention Upper East Siders: Gossip Girl is getting rebooted and we’re here for it
Ahhhh Gossip Girl, our deepest televised guilty pleasures of the late 2000s is FINALLY making a comeback. And no, this is not a prank orchestrated by Georgina Sparks. The scandalous and soap show about rich and snobby private high schoolers is set to have a reboot bigger and better than ever with a whole new cast.
Ten episodes of the teen drama that ran from 2007 to 2012 will kick off eight years after the finale following a new generation of Upper East Side New York private school teens on Warner Bro’s new streaming service HBO Max
Though we have no idea about the new cast, there’s a chance Chace Crawford (aka Nate Archibald) and Leighton Meester, Upper East’s Queen B Blair Waldorf MIGHT be a part of the remake’s cast so keep your fingers crossed.
The original producers have signed on to develop the reboot with HBO Max so we know it’s legit.
We can’t wait till we get our hands on a release date!
